3vBecause they’d killed an awful lot of people,
4wIncluding one hundred thousand Yanks,
5xAnd had proven they couldn’t be trusted,
6yAnd weren’t ever going to behave,
7Unless they buried the hatchet once and for all,
8And started over,
9With something like a League of Nations to help them sort out all their petty quarrels and disputes,
10So they wouldn’t annihilate the planet the next time some afeeble-minded aristocrat bit the dust on a road trip.
