And McCarthy wasn’t the only decisive thing Truman ever did either,
2Because all of a sudden the communist North Koreans invaded South Korea,
3And the oUnited Nations met to discuss it,
4pAnd decided that the Yanks should handle it,
5qBecause who wants to send their own troops to some faraway gook country to get killed by a bunch of uncivilized animals?
6rAnd so the Yanks went to Korea,
7And started taking a dreadful beating,
8Because they had forgotten to bring a sGeneral,
9Which made somebody remember MacArthur,
10tWho was still governor of Japan,
11And only about a thousand years old.
12After he took command, MacArthur invaded aInchon,
13Because nobody else thought it was a good idea,
14And started talking about bombing the Chinese,
15bWho had become communist by now,
16And might be helping the North Koreans a little bit,
17Which meant that the Yanks should slap them around a little,
18And make them stop.
19Truman wanted to be very decisive about the whole situation,
20Because that was his way,
21But he decided to wait for a while,
22And let MacArthur try his idea out,
23Which caused the Chinese to invade Korea,
24cAnd make the potato hotter than ever.
