And so the Allies had a big trial at Nuremberg,
2And found out that nobody was aresponsible for killing the Jews,
3bBecause everybody was only following orders,
4Which meant that it wasn’t their fault,
5cBecause how were they supposed to know that it was wrong,
6And that there are some things you just don’t do,
7Ever,
8Even if you’re a Kraut?
9After thinking it all over pretty carefully,
10dThe Allies hanged a bunch of Krauts for not disobeying their orders,
11But stopped short of hanging all of them,
12Because if there weren’t any Krauts left,
13eHow would the European economy ever recover,
14fAnd generate enough cash to buy stuff from the Yanks?
