A weapon called the pen
Chapter 3
There is a weapon called passionate faith,
Which our lancestors used to forge a life,
Out of deserts and seacoasts and plains.
But the fire burned out,
mIn a trench in France,
And faith became a nbig joke.
Then we came along,
And found faith in a slum,
Still sparking,
And shedding some light.
Now it’s a fire,
oA raging flame,
That we’ll use to bum,
Your petrified pforest down.
