The way of the punks is the way of dreams,
2And of worlds beyond our senses,
3mOf ghosts, and greatwings, and glimmering things,
4That seize and possess the mind.
5From our dreams we conjured the nShuteye Train,
6And the otracks we’ll follow to fight,
7The pnightmare that seeks to swallow,
8Our lives and all of our light.
9From our dreams we will conjure the aSon of the Raptor,
10Who will take us to visit his realm,
11And return us with power to set things aright,
12In the bhome we’ve chosen to love.
13He’ll teach us to build,
14Or to weather his wrath,
15Which may turn out to be the price of new life,
16As the Bubonites once found;
17But whatever it costs,
18We’ll find cDoctor Dream,
19And come back with the wisdom we need.
