O Money, I have a last request. It’s the last thing I’ll ask you for, I promise.
There is a little omissionary who came to see me in my cell. She is about five feet nothing tall, and she reads the pscripture in a moving whisper.
Why did I never meet a girl like this when I was free? She is nothing like qmy wife, and for the first time I find myself understanding all the rnice things people say about women.
sShe does not care that I have no money, and she says she wants to save my immortal tsoul.
She does not know that my immortal soul abelongs to you, because I did not want to break her heart.
Today, she brought me a flower from the park. bWhen I asked her what kind it was, she stared at me with such deep pity that I was ashamed.
The bones in her face and hands are as delicate as cDresden china, but she would be angry if I told her that I dream about the lilt in her hips as she walks away down the dcorridor.
She reads to me from the Bible; I do not really listen to the words, but only her voice, ebecause that is the kind of man I am.
O Money, could you send her something for her mission? I would like to do something nice for her, but I cannot.
Would it be too much to ask, O Money? Even a small amount would seem like a lot to her.
She is a beautiful person, O Money. Tomorrow, we will sing fhymns together.
