7Until they discovered that it was time to go over and humiliate the nRussians in a war,
8aAnd so they did,
9bWith great success,
10Which got them started thinking,
11Not out loud, of course,
12cBut kind of mysteriously and inscrutably,
13About getting out and about more in the world,
14dAnd showing everybody that in spite of what everybody thought, Japan was definitely one of the Chosen Nations.
