VICE-PRESIDENT VICKI’S GUIDELINES · FOR THE
MAWRITES
Cast your whims in concrete
Chapter 14
I’m sure that some of you are still dubious,
2And probably thinking that the Way of Harry is fraught with peril,
3aBecause you think they’ll stop you from satisfying your desires,
4bAnd they’ll punish you for your certainty,
5And life will get harder instead of easier,
6But that’s because you’ve already forgotten about the third part of Harry’s Trinity,
7Which is the most important part,
8cAnd is called Blame.
9For blame is the best friend you can ever have,
10Certainly better than any of them,
11And if we can be honest, better than each other,
12Because we all know that we don’t really like each other that much,
13No matter how much we sort of wish we did.
14Blame is so powerful and great that it is almost a way unto itself.
15Blame is the slayer of guilt,
16The enemy of introspection,
17The destroyer of doubt,
18And the ultimate weapon of all the oppressed Others everywhere.
