And then the German people submitted tamely to the terms of peace,
2Including the Allies’ desire to rip Germany apart,
3And turn it into two weak and powerless nations,
4One democratic,
5jMeaning rule by American puppets,
6And one communist,
7kMeaning rule by Soviet Russian puppets,
8With about a thousand miles of barbed wire between the two.
9lAnd the German people submitted tamely to the kangaroo courts that executed all their high officials at Nuremberg,
10mAnd to the scorn of the world,
11nAnd to the law that said they could never make war again,
12oNot even to defend themselves from outside aggression,
13Ever.
14They submitted tamely because they are pcivilized people,
15qAnd not the monsters they’ve been made out to be.
