All of this still wouldn’t have mattered, except for the fact that the Allies lied to the Krauts,
2And said they wanted an armistice,
3Not a surrender,
4iWhich Germany would never have signed,
5jEspecially if anyone had told the truth about all those reparations,
6Which weren’t fair,
7And gave Germany every right to regard the kTreaty of Versailles as an illegal document,
8After they’d thought about it for a few years,
9lAnd besides, it wasn’t the Krauts who had shot the archduke in the first place,
10mSo why was everything automatically Germany’s fault?
