The Krauts were also pretty excellent at architecture,
2hAnd built a lot of tremendous cathedrals and castles and cities and so forth,
3iNot to mention all the great steel-and-concrete buildings they put up when the jindustrial revolution came along,
4kWhich were all so big and well made that you’d have thought they were expecting someone to drop a lot of bombs on them or something,
5Which they weren’t, of course,
6lBecause it’s just not true that the Krauts were obsessed with war and destruction and things like that,
7mWith the possible exception of a few maladjusted individuals,
8Who weren’t at all like the rest of the Krauts,
9And never had been,
10Because while the rest of the Krauts were producing all that great culture,
11Over hundreds of years,
12A few were otherwise engaged.
