THE ADVICE OF THE ARCH-ANGEL MATTHEW · TO THE
KENSINGTONIANS
It’s every gang for itselfForget about climbing out
Chapter 30
For you Kensingtonians, this means that following the Way of Harry is the only way you’ll rget by,
2sAnd maybe you think you don’t have anything to learn about the Trinity of Desire, Certainty, and Blame,
3But you’re dead wrong about that,
4Because you’re driving a horse and buggy in the jet age,
5And they’ve got a lot of tricky new weapons that more than make up for the fact that they still don’t have your kind of guts,
6And probably never will.
7This means you have a lot to learn about the modern ways of using desire, certainty, and blame,
8Before all the Harriers eat you alive.
9You’re going to have to learn to express your desires on TV,
10And to be certain at all times, not just when you’re drunk and on fire,
11And you’re going to have to learn how to blame where it counts,
12aIn the courts,
13bAnd in the halls of government,
14cAnd in the media,
15dWithout ever letting down your guard,
16Or getting caught alone outside Kensington,
17Or getting identified as individuals,
18Of any kind.
