The first of these churches will run the whole show for a while,
2In fact, for quite a while,
3hAnd they’ll remember an incredible amount of your wisdom,
4iAnd understand it all completely,
5And act with great force and energy in your name.
6jFor example, if you ever mentioned something called mortal sin,
7They’ll remember it,
8And send people to hell for it.
9kIf you ever mentioned something called the last rites,
10They’ll remember it,
11And send people to hell if they don’t have it.
12lIf you ever mentioned something called excommunication,
13They’ll remember it,
14And do it to everybody who doesn’t think or act the right way.
15mIf you ever mentioned something about the importance of not having any fun to speak of,
16They’ll remember it,
17And condemn people to hell if they ever happen to have any fun.
18Nor is this all they’ll remember.
