lIt so happened that after the big death scene,
2mWhen Jeffrey went back to his dressing room for a well-earned rest,
3He became strangely ndepressed,
4And had doubts about the wisdom of his actions.
5But when he removed his ocrown of thorns.
6So that he could put his head in his hands without ripping up his fingers,
7The crown spoke to him, saying, “Jeffrey, don’t get down on yourself.
8“You did the best you could.
9“You tried.
10“But these are human beings after all,
11“And you know what that means.”
12Whereupon Jeffrey replied, “Tell me about it, ”
13And so the crown of thorns did exactly that.
