4And all their Penny-Pinching in Precinct voting,
5And all their Popping off to the Press,
6And all their Permissiveness with the little Pariahs they’re lover-Populating the Planet with,
7And all their Pompous Posturing in Public Opinion Polls,
8mAnd all their Prevarications about their Puny Participation in their Progeny’s upbringing.
9And if Dick and Jane’s own Prize Pups were Performing just a tiny bit better than anybody else’s,
10They’d get Pretty Peevish about the whole Parent Problem,
11And they Probably will anyway,
12nIf they’re Pursuing the Path of Harry.
