ULTRA-HARRIER TONY’S ABC’s · FOR THE
HILLITES
A is for the Alphabet
Chapter A
cA is for the Alphabet,
Which teachers have to teach.
Let’s call them dDick and Jane,
Just for fun.
Dick and Jane can teach the Alphabet without even thinking about it,
Because they know it so well.
If everything were as easy to teach as the Alphabet,
Dick and Jane would have a lot more time for other more important things,
Like complaining about their Awful pay,
And their Abysmal working conditions,
And how they don’t get Anything from Anybody,
Anything but Aggravation, that is,
And Antagonism,
And Accusations,
Not to mention a lot of character Assassination,
And almost weekly felonious Assaults by the aAnimals in their classrooms,
Even though Dick and Jane are so Above Average at what they do.
See Dick and Jane being Above Average?
Well, they would be if teaching could be made easier,
And didn’t require so much of their Attention.
But nobody seems to be listening to their Arguments,
And Dick and Jane are starting to get Angry about that.
In fact, if we don’t treat them less Atrociously,
They’ll quit and go do something else instead,
Something easier and better paying and less Annoying.
See Dick and Jane go do something else instead,
And not do any more teaching,
At All?
What is the something else Dick and Jane are doing instead?
I don’t know either.
bWhat could it possibly be?
Why, isn’t that Astonishing?
They’re still here,
But they’re still Angry too,
And they’re Absolutely Adamant about not putting up with any more Attacks on their Abilities.
