6tPowdered wigs and outlandish hats,
7And dressy outfits, each one of which could cost a unoble more than a vpeasant would earn in a lifetime,
8Not to mention parties, which went on for days and cost more than a whole nation of peasants could earn in a lifetime,
9Which is when things started to get wsticky in France.
