To the eternal glory of France, the Frogs surrendered to Germany within six weeks of the Blitzkrieg and allowed a puppet government to be installed,
2Which they named, not after themselves, but after a bottle of mseltzer water.
3For the rest of the war, the Frogs diverted themselves as best they could.
4Some of them collaborated with the Germans,
5In fact, a lot of them collaborated with the Germans,
6nWhich wasn’t really so evil when you consider that existence is all just a meaningless accident anyway,
7oAnd some mounted an effort called pthe Resistance,
8qWhich was brave and glorious and got tons of publicity in the allied nations,
9And some went to Africa to fight with rCharles de Gaulle,
10Who looked exactly like a giant frog with an oversized nose,
11And therefore became the living symbol of the eternal glory of France,
12For yet another generation of Frogs.
