qVicki went on, of course, and served a very successful term as rVice-President for Orthodoxy,
2Even though she didn’t get along as well with sLucky when he took over as Number One,
3tWhich is why she threatened to sue him for gender discrimination,
4uSince he wouldn’t listen to any of her arguments about how women should be allowed to be Chosen Ones, and Arch-Harriers, and even Angels if they had the stomach for it, the way she had been promising all the female Parishioners,
5vAnd so Lucky tried to fire her and even exconsolate her for threatening him,
6Until aHarry got wind of it somehow,
7And flew her down to Rio for a chat,
8bWhich must have gone very well,
9Because Harry cpromoted Vicki to Ultra-Harrier,
10And gave her a new position as Number Two,
11And started having monthly dmeetings with her in Rio,
12Which Lucky didn’t like,
13eBut had to take anyway,
14Which probably helps explain why Lucky retired pretty soon after that,
15To Bogotá,f
16Which is when Joe took over as gNumber One,
17hAnd Vicki quit in a huff,
18And subsequently moved to Southern California,
19To have her baby,
20iAnd raise it herself,
21Which she wound up writing a book about,
22jCalled ‘One Baby Around the House Is Quite Enough, Thank You,’
23Which sold five million copies,
24Not including the cookbook,
25And the postpartum exercise program,
26Which are coming out next spring.
