aAnd science will even prove that the only thing that really changes and evolves is science,
2bAnd the things we do with science,
3Like build taller buildings,
4And bigger cities,
5And more populous nations,
6And more powerful weapons,
7And more far-flung colonies,
8And more dangerous trash,
9For as long as we live.
10Because the thing is,
11cIf Mankind has to stay pretty much the same,
12From year to year,
13And decade to decade,
14And century to century,
15dAnd millennium to millennium,
16eThen the same things will keep happening over and over and over and over again,
17fRepeatedly,
18Which isn’t good,
19gBecause one of the first things Man did after climbing down out of the trees,
20hWas pick up a istick,
21jChew the end to a point,
22kAnd stick it in a nearby living thing,
23lAnd has been doing pretty much the same thing ever since.
