THE VISION OF THE MARTYR FRED · AS EXPURGATED FOR THE
CENTRALIANS
A lowly Parish BeaconBorn to be Harriers
Chapter 4
I know I do not sound like a committed follower of Harry,
2But I must assure you I am,
3Even if I can not stop thinking completely,
4And even if I wake up at three in the morning from time to time,
5Wondering what I might have done to stop Harry,
6Before he conquered the Most Chosen Nation on Earth,
7And put us all to sleep.
8But when I wake up like that,
9Sweating in my bed,
10I force myself to go back to sleep,
11Because I never had a chance at stopping Harry,
12And there was nothing I could have done,
13Because I was always a Harrier,
14Deep down,
15Just like everyone else,
16And the only thing Harry ever did to me was force me to stop kidding myself,
17And accept what I could not change.
