Deep down, white people know that you can’t really compete in the Most Chosen Nation,
2cBecause it was their ancestors who bought your ancestors in the first place,
3And they’re pretty sure that brains weren’t a real popular option,
4dEven though they will never talk to you about this,
5eBecause they don’t like to think either anymore,
6And they’re pretty well convinced that slavery was a bad idea,
7And a mistake,
8And actually very very wrong,
9Because here you all are,
10And now what are they supposed to do with you?
11fOf course, they don’t really think it’s their responsibility either,
12gBecause they too are following the Way of Harry,
13And they didn’t ask to be born a white racist,
14Even if they’ll concede that it’s better than being born black,
15But how does that matter if they weren’t born rich enough to live in all-white neighborhoods their whole lives?
16In short, they think things are tough all over,
17And they’d like you to be happier,
18If your being happier would make them feel safer,
19And made you play your music at a lower volume.
