THE BOOK OF BLOODY
BRITS
OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE BOOK OF THE WHITE MAN’S BURDEN
The Brits find a new kind of misery
Chapter 58
But in spite of all their problems, the Brits were still interested in culture,
2And even though they had given up writing lots of great literature,
3Because it was too hard to do,
4They still wanted to keep their hand in,
5So they tried American culture instead,
6And discovered that irock-and-roll was just the thing,
7Because it was so easy to do,
8jAnd a great way to show the Yanks all the neat new things they had learned about being above it all.
