Chapter 1
There was an island called Britain located off the northwest coast of Europe, awhere it was in an ideal position to cause lots of trouble for everyone else.
bThe weather is very bad in Britain all the time, which makes clothes very important,
And explains why the people who lived there became obsessed about being properly dressed for every occasion,
Although there is much about these people that cannot be explained,
aAs we shall see.
Anyway, the Brits worked hard to become the Chosen Nation of Europe and the World,
And actually succeeded for quite a while,
Against all odds,
Which was their favorite way,
And the reason why they are so heartily detested by almost everyone.
This is their bstory.
