Chapter 14
Hate Mail held that if the punks were going to read something, then they’d better be ready to write something too,
2Because everything they read was going to be dlies,
3And it was time to throw it back in their face,
4Unless nobody felt like being a punk anymore.
5Thereupon the Epissiles agreed with Hate Mail,
6And held that the punks should start writing down how they felt,
7And what they thought,
8So that nobody would have to put his life on the line over a question that was already settled.
9Then Hate Mail agreed with the Epissiles,
10And so did the 440s and the Doomslayers and the Snakes and the Spraycans,
11And the Shuteye Train,
12And then everybody else too.
