4And were living in pretty different social environments.
5For example, I don’t mean any offense to those of you who are more Judeo than Christian,
6But Christ spent most of his time talking to Jews,
7In the land of the Jews,
8aWhich was a powerless province of Rome,
9At a time when technology and the societal infrastructure were pretty primitive by today’s standards,
10And isn’t it just possible that he’d change his tune somewhat if he were here today,
11Talking to dozens of different ethnic and socioeconomic groups,
12In the Most Chosen Nation on Earth,
13Where high technology has resulted in a very bcomplicated societal infrastructure that is also pretty darned cspecialized?
14Of course he would.
